From San Diego to Washington, D.C., Miami to Boston, to New York, communities across the United States unite in defense of immigrant families.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Haitian Bridge Alliance (HBA) commends the thousands of advocates, faith leaders, labor organizations, immigrant-rights groups, and community members who are participating in coordinated rallies across the United States today calling for the protection of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) holders and other immigrant communities amid Supreme Court ruling that allowed the Trump Administration to gut TPS for more than 340,000 Haitian nationals and Syrians.

From San Diego to Washington, D.C., from Florida to Boston, Americans are gathering peacefully in cities across the country to send a clear message: families who have built their lives, careers, and communities in the United States deserve stability, dignity, and protection—not fear and uncertainty.

The first rally was led by the Haitian Bridge Alliance and the Common Defense Deported Veterans in San Diego, California. HBA also recognizes the tireless efforts of grassroots organizations, legal advocates, faith communities, labor unions, students, and local leaders who organized and are participating in today’s mobilizations. Their collective action demonstrates that support for immigrant communities extends far beyond any one city or state.
