San Diego, CA - Guerline Jozef, Executive Director of Haitian Bridge served as a guest lecturer in an American Foreign Policy class at Howard University. During her guest lecture, Ms. Jozef shared insights into the complexities of immigration policy, the impact of these policies on diverse communities, and the connections between immigration and American foreign affairs. Her unique perspective enriched student’s understanding of the multifaceted dynamics shaping contemporary American Foreign Policy.

Ms. Jozef delivered a comprehensive discourse on the intricate topic of migration, elucidating the significant role that U.S. foreign policy has played in eroding democracy, peace, and security in various countries worldwide. She highlighted the profound connections between these destabilizing factors and the resultant influx of migrants at diverse borders. By delving into the nuanced dynamics, Ms. Jozef provided a thought-provoking analysis of how international policies can have far-reaching consequences on global migration patterns, contributing to a deeper understanding of the complexities surrounding the issues at hand. Ms. Jozef also spoke about the role of climate change as also a source of stabilization.
